Cat Vaccinations
Kittens should be given their first booster at or around the age of 8
weeks. And should receive 2 boosters over a two to three week period.
(8 weeks, 10 weeks of age) This is also a good time to worm them on
the same schedule.
Our Feline Vaccine is a Fort Dodge product. The Distemper Vaccine is
actually a 3 way. This means it is protecting your cat from 3 deadly
diseases. (Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus & Panleukopenia). This
vaccination should be given yearly.
We offer 1 year and 3 year Rabies Vaccinations. Your pets first
vaccination will only be good for 1 year. (cats need to build a good
Immune response for the vaccine to last longer) From that point on you
can receive the 3 year Vaccination.
We also offer a Merial Vaccine for cats that has the 1 Year Rabies and
Feline Distemper in one Vaccine. This means only one injection per
Year. (Your cat will thank you)
The last Vaccine offered is a Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDs Vaccine.
It would be wise to test for the diseases before Vaccinating.
To help you protect
your Pet, we have added
